What this site is

Sectr is in pre-launch. This site describes the product, lets you join the waitlist, and — with an access code — download early builds of the desktop app. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time, and we make no promises about launch timing, pricing or availability.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist doesn’t create a contract, guarantee access, or reserve you a place on any particular date. We may open access in stages, in any order. How we handle your email address is covered by our privacy policy.

Downloads

Early builds of the Sectr desktop app are made available for evaluation. The app is licensed, not sold, and its use is governed by the licence terms presented with the app itself; these website terms cover the website only. Pre-release software may contain bugs — don’t rely on it as your only copy of anything that matters.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its infrastructure, or other users’ data;
• use the site to distribute malware or unlawful content;
• scrape, bulk-download or republish site content without our permission;
• misrepresent your affiliation with us.

Intellectual property

Sectr, Ducktail, and the associated logos, product designs and site content are our intellectual property (or that of our licensors). We grant you a limited, revocable licence to view the site for personal and internal business use. No other rights are granted.

Liability

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes and law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies from its “last updated” date. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
